The Icon: Mon Hat with Dok Ma-Tad<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our most famous piece is the Mon hat, 100% hand-embroidered. The signature motif is Dok Ma-Tad (Dillenia Flower), a stunning yellow flower from the local forest that represents strength and beauty. Artisans also stitch Pikul, Jasmine, and the sacred Hongsa Swan \u2014 the symbol of the Mon nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. The Elegance: SabaI Embroidery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The story began with faith. Thai-Mon women traditionally wore a breast cloth. When entering the temple, they draped a SabaI over it for modesty. Today, that simple cloth has become a canvas of intricate hand-stitching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Who Owns This Culture?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the heritage of the Thai-Mon (Thai of Mon descent). They are Thai people whose ancestors have lived in Nakhon Chum for generations.
