4×4 Road Trip Koh Phangan – Natural Hiking & Secret Beaches

Explore the real Phangan beyond Haad Rin. Jungle, waterfalls, hidden beaches – only accessible by 4×4 with a local guide.

1. Than Sadet Waterfall

The most historic waterfall in Phangan. King Rama V, VII, and IX visited here. You can see the royal inscriptions JPR on the rocks. Multi-level waterfall with a stunning view of Than Sadet Bay on the top. Best in rainy season.

2. Giant Yang Na Tree – Dipterocarpus alatus

A 150-year-old giant Yang Na tree, over 30 meters high. It takes 4-5 people to hug it! Located deep in Phangan’s rainforest. The lung of the island. A must-check-in spot for nature lovers.

3. Coconut Farm

100 years ago, Phangan was the coconut island. Visit a local farm, see how locals collect coconuts, make cold-pressed coconut oil, and taste fresh coconut juice straight from the tree.

4. Wat Maduea Wan Temple

A hidden peaceful temple on the hill. No big tour buses here. Only locals know it. Beautiful, quiet, with a great jungle view. A perfect spiritual stop.

5. Malibu Beach

A secret beach with crystal clear shallow water like a swimming pool. White sand, sea swings, and a wooden bar in the water. Perfect for photos. Very few tourists know this place.

6. Koh Ma – Sandbar Island

The highlight! Koh Ma is connected to Phangan by a white sandbar at low tide. You can walk to the small island. Amazing for snorkeling, colorful fish around the island.

7. Koh Raham – Hidden Bamboo Bar

A secret bamboo bar built on the rocks over the sea. You have to walk over rocks to get there, but the sunset view is the best on the island. Chill with a coconut shake.

8. Thongsala Market / Chaloklum Sunday Market

End the tour with a local market. Weekdays we go to Thongsala Market, Sundays we go to Chaloklum Fishing Village Market – fresh seafood and local food at local prices.
